YZI Labs backs EASY S4 project list

2026-08-26 06:20

StablecoinOn-chainETF

YZI Labs-backed EASY S4 has introduced a 24-project cohort focused on practical blockchain and AI applications, led by on-chain trading infrastructure, stablecoin payment rails, institutional privacy tools, and automated security systems. Data published by XHunt on Aug. 26, 2026, shows the group is targeting areas where crypto products must work with existing financial behavior: foreign exchange, local payments, corporate compliance, treasury management, and trade execution.

The cohort’s largest cluster is built around market infrastructure. Several projects are attempting to improve how liquidity, pricing, and trade execution function on public blockchains, particularly for professional users who have traditionally relied on centralized venues or fragmented over-the-counter markets.

Nexroute is developing a DeFi execution stack designed to reduce malicious maximal extractable value, or MEV, the value that can be extracted by reordering or inserting blockchain transactions. Its model aims to return a portion of that extracted value to trading venues and underlying chains, rather than allowing it to be captured solely by transaction intermediaries.

Neutral Trade is taking a different route, offering tokenized strategies modeled on hedge-fund products. The platform reports cumulative deposits of more than $210 million. Alloco similarly packages investment-style products into on-chain ETF tokens for institutions, including thematic baskets, hedge-fund strategies, and pre-IPO exposure.

Foreign exchange becomes a recurring use case

Foreign exchange is one of the clearest themes across the S4 lineup. Aile is building a permissionless on-chain FX layer for non-dollar stablecoins, aggregating liquidity from FX brokers, DeFi pools, and stablecoin issuers. The approach could make it easier to swap between stablecoins tied to currencies outside the U.S. dollar, where available on-chain liquidity has often been thinner.

XStable also combines AI with on-chain markets for gold and foreign exchange. It reports more than $100 million in daily trading volume and promotes self-custody and transparent settlement. ViFi, meanwhile, is a decentralized exchange aimed at emerging-market currencies, with listed pairs involving the Nigerian naira, Brazilian real, and peso. Its system enables users to convert through USDC without prefunding accounts or holding local-currency inventory.

ElfomoFi is building a prop-AMM-style pricing layer for Ethereum Virtual Machine-compatible networks. Rather than relying entirely on passive liquidity pools, it is designed to connect professional market makers with liquidity providers and traders. Liquorice addresses capital efficiency for market makers by offering an inventory credit layer: intent-based and request-for-quote market makers borrow funds after they win solver auctions, reducing the need to leave large balances idle ahead of a trade.

SmartX brings social trading into the mix through verified positions, AI signal matching, and one-click trade copying. De¹, described as an on-chain financial world model connected to live execution, reports processing more than $800 million in daily trading volume across more than 1,000 liquidity sources and over 40 blockchains, serving more than 200 institutions.

Roostoo is pursuing automated trading from another direction. The project describes itself as an AI quantitative trading-agent factory, training reinforcement-learning models across crypto perpetual contracts, equities, commodities, and FX. According to its project description, models are tested in live trading competitions before selected strategies are deployed to decentralized exchanges and on-chain vaults.

Stablecoin rails target everyday money movement

The payments group centers on the friction between stablecoins and the local banking, card, and payment systems people already use. D0 connects local payment methods in emerging markets to on-chain financial products, allowing users to access crypto services with familiar funding tools.

Nxos combines fiat and stablecoin accounts in a compliance-focused neobank for cross-border trade. Facto provides payment middleware intended to let users spend from yield-bearing stablecoin balances without moving funds into a separate spending account first. The product is delivered through an API, allowing developers to embed that function in their own applications.

Surgepay is focused on bill payments for overseas Indians through WhatsApp. It uses stablecoin rails and states that it can provide rupee settlement in two minutes at rates close to the mid-market level. Spectrum offers round-the-clock crypto-to-fiat clearing, converting crypto balances into bank transfers or card payments. The product is designed around persistent weaknesses in conventional settlement, including weekend closures, transfer delays, and account restrictions.

Nara is building a programmable credit layer with continuous borrowing and repayment. It directs financing yield to NaraUSD and advertises a yield above 10%, a figure that users would need to assess alongside the credit, liquidity, and counterparty risks behind the product. Kravata offers a stablecoin stack for Latin America, combining accounts, custody, payment tools, on- and off-ramps, and yield products through a single integration aimed at banks, fintechs, and telecommunications companies.

Together, these projects place stablecoins closer to payment infrastructure rather than treating them solely as trading collateral. Their commercial challenge will be less about issuing a token and more about maintaining reliable conversion, compliance controls, banking links, and local-currency settlement.

Institutional tools move beyond transaction privacy

The S4 cohort also includes projects aimed at the enterprise layer of on-chain finance. Primus is building privacy infrastructure for institutions operating on public blockchains. Its first application, Confidential Vault, is already available, and the project plans to extend its technology into payments, payroll, and treasury management.

ZeroDrift applies AI agents to enterprise software security. The project converts security processes into code, reusable workflows, and agents that can operate continuously. The product reflects a growing focus on automated security operations as companies deploy more software integrations and machine-driven workflows.

FinTax addresses a separate barrier for businesses handling digital assets: reporting and compliance. It provides accounting, tax, compliance, and AI infrastructure for digital-asset activity and says its users include companies, financial institutions, and government departments. For firms operating across multiple chains and jurisdictions, accurate records can be as operationally necessary as custody or liquidity.

xAPI is targeting the emerging market for AI-agent services. Its marketplace lets agents discover, pay for, and call APIs using a single key, while also enabling developers to publish APIs for agent use. The model is intended to give autonomous software tools a standardized method for accessing paid services.

XHunt itself appears in the list as an AI-native creator marketplace that uses influence data for brand and commercial matching. Public XHunt ranking figures cited for cohort projects include 12,389 for De¹, 36,044 for Primus, 100,114 for ViFi, 159,427 for XStable, 178,191 for xAPI, 24,021 for Neutral Trade, and 95,246 for SmartX.

A biotech outlier rounds out the cohort

Meddcom AI is the sole biotech project in EASY S4. The longevity and preventive-medicine platform combines AI with data from more than 100 blood biomarkers, epigenetic testing, and more than 100 smart devices to update personalized health-management plans.

The inclusion of Meddcom broadens the cohort beyond financial infrastructure, but the dominant pattern remains clear: most of the 24 projects are trying to make blockchain systems useful in workflows where speed, liquidity, settlement certainty, privacy, and compliance determine whether a product can move beyond crypto-native users.
