BingX has moved to offer eligible users trading access to an Anthropic pre-IPO product following the artificial intelligence company’s Oct. 26 disclosure that it had submitted a registration statement to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed initial public offering. The offer places one of the most closely watched private AI companies alongside the platform’s existing traditional-market products, extending pre-IPO speculation into a round-the-clock crypto trading environment.
The Panama City-based platform announced the product on Oct. 27 through its “Connect What’s Moving” program. BingX said eligible users would be able to trade an Anthropic-linked pre-IPO instrument without opening a U.S. brokerage account and without lock-up periods, while using its 24/7 trading infrastructure.
Anthropic, the developer of the Claude family of AI models, said its SEC filing relates to a proposed IPO. A registration statement is the formal document companies use to begin the process of selling shares to the public in the United States, although submitting one does not set a final listing date, share price, valuation or offering size.
The filing creates a fresh market reference point for companies connected to the rapid expansion of generative AI. Anthropic has become a major private-sector competitor in the model-development race, and its path toward public markets is likely to draw attention from traders tracking the companies supplying the computing capacity, data-center infrastructure and semiconductors needed to run advanced AI systems.
A pre-IPO product rather than a confirmed stock listing
BingX described its offering as an Anthropic pre-IPO trading product, to be made available within its TradFi lineup of stock, index, foreign-exchange and commodity products. The platform did not, in the announcement provided, detail the product’s settlement design, underlying price reference, leverage terms, margin rules or the circumstances under which trading could be adjusted or closed.
Those mechanics will shape how closely the instrument reflects the eventual market value of Anthropic shares. Pre-IPO products can be structured in different ways, including as contracts tied to an implied valuation or to reference-market prices rather than direct ownership of private-company equity. A trader’s exposure, rights and settlement outcome can vary substantially depending on that structure.
Anthropic’s SEC registration process also remains separate from secondary-market trading products offered by third parties. Until an IPO is priced and shares begin trading on a public exchange, there may be no continuously quoted public equity price for a platform to follow. That can leave pre-IPO instruments especially sensitive to news about financing, public filings, competition, AI demand and the terms of any eventual offering.
BingX said the program combines real-time updates, market access and educational material covering corporate disclosures, competitive conditions and offering-related factors. Kevin Lee, BingX’s chief strategy officer, was cited in the company’s announcement about the launch.
The platform has also started an Anthropic trading promotion with a stated 500,000 USDT prize pool. BingX said eligible new users who trade the product can claim an ANTHROPIC reward equivalent to $15. Promotional rewards may attract early participation, though they do not address the pricing and settlement risks attached to pre-IPO-linked instruments.
SEC filing puts attention on AI supply chains
Anthropic’s move toward an IPO comes as public-market interest in AI has increasingly extended beyond model developers themselves. Companies building foundation models rely on expensive computing clusters, specialized chips, cloud capacity, power infrastructure and enterprise distribution partnerships. An IPO filing from a large private AI developer offers traders another source of disclosures about the economics of building and commercializing those systems.
The SEC process could eventually provide more standardized information than private funding announcements typically offer. Registration documents commonly cover financial performance, risk factors, ownership, customer concentration, competition and intended use of proceeds, although the scope and timing of public disclosure depend on the filing process and any subsequent amendments.
That information could influence how markets assess not only Anthropic but also the commercial outlook for the companies around it. Demand for AI services has supported expectations for more spending on computing infrastructure, while the high cost of training and operating advanced models has also raised questions about margins, pricing power and capital requirements.
A proposed IPO does not resolve those questions. Public filings can sharpen them by placing revenue growth, operating costs and business risks into a more formal disclosure framework. The eventual offering price, if Anthropic proceeds, would provide a market-tested valuation benchmark after years in which AI-company valuations have largely been set through private financing negotiations.
Round-the-clock access brings different risks
BingX said its product would trade around the clock, unlike U.S. equity markets, which operate during set weekday hours. Continuous access may appeal to crypto-native users accustomed to trading outside conventional market sessions, especially when news breaks overnight or across different regions.
The same structure can amplify the impact of thin liquidity or rapid changes in sentiment. If reference prices are updated less frequently than the trading product itself, a sudden move in a related market or a new disclosure could create sharp repricing. Traders considering the product should examine the platform’s terms on pricing sources, order execution, liquidation thresholds, fees and settlement before taking a position.
Limit orders can help traders set a maximum purchase price or minimum sale price, though they do not guarantee execution during fast market moves. Margin trading introduces a separate risk: a position can be reduced or liquidated when account collateral falls below the platform’s required level.
Anthropic’s filing has created a new focal point for AI-market speculation, while BingX’s product offers a way for eligible users to trade that interest before any conventional stock-market debut. The eventual usefulness of the instrument will depend less on the publicity around the IPO process than on whether its pricing, settlement and risk controls give traders a transparent link to the company’s eventual public-market valuation.
