3.3 Fee calculation example
Suppose a follower opens a 10 ETH long position on the ETH perpetual futures at a market price of 2,800 USDT and closes the position at a market price of 2,900 USDT. Assume the 0 slippage Copy Trading fee rate for ETH-SWAP-USDT is 0.020% and the futures trading fee rate is 0.06%.
-
Entry trading fee: 2,800 × 10 × 0.06% = 16.8 USDT
-
Entry 0 slippage Copy Trading fee: 2,800 × 10 × 0.02% = 5.6 USDT
-
Trading P&L: (2,900 - 2,800) × 10 = 1,000 USDT
-
Exit trading fee: 2,900 × 10 × 0.06% = 17.4 USDT
-
Exit 0 slippage Copy Trading fee: 2,900 × 10 × 0.02% = 5.8 USDT
Net profit = 1,000 - 16.8 - 5.6 - 17.4 - 5.8 = 954.4 USDT
This example does not include Lead Trader profit sharing or other applicable fees. The actual result is subject to the final settlement shown in your account.
4. FAQ
1. Will the follower's execution price exactly match the Lead Trader's after enabling 0 slippage Copy Trading?
When the 0 slippage mechanism is functioning normally, the follower's execution price will match the execution price of the corresponding order placed by the Lead Trader.
However, market conditions and liquidity can change rapidly. If the price difference exceeds the range that the market maker can support, the 0 slippage mechanism may not take effect.
2. Why is the Copy Trading execution price not shown on the candlestick chart?
0 slippage Copy Trading orders are executed by OTC market makers rather than directly through the perpetual futures market. Therefore, the execution price of these orders does not directly affect the perpetual futures candlestick chart.
As a result, the copy trading execution price may differ from the prices shown on the candlestick chart.
3. Why can slippage still occur after enabling 0 slippage Copy Trading?
0 slippage Copy Trading does not guarantee zero slippage under all market conditions.
When market volatility is high, or the price difference exceeds the range that the market maker can support, the market maker may be unable to accept the order:
-
Entry orders: If the 0 slippage mechanism cannot take effect, the copy trading order may not be executed.
-
Exit orders: If the 0 slippage mechanism cannot take effect, the order will be executed at market price according to the applicable rules.
Therefore, enabling 0 slippage Copy Trading does not guarantee zero slippage for every copy trading order.

The 0 slippage Copy Trading fee is charged separately from the Futures Account.
The fee is not included in copy trading P&L statistics but will affect your actual account returns.
