Valbury Asia Futures has added Devexperts’ DXtrade platform to its Indonesian contracts for difference and foreign exchange trading offering, expanding its client-facing technology across web and mobile channels, including a dedicated app. The rollout gives the Jakarta-based multi-asset brokerage access to a platform that Devexperts says is among only two approved for licensing by Indonesian commodity futures and derivatives brokers.
The addition, announced on Sept. 29, 2026, places Valbury on one of the limited number of locally approved platform systems available to brokers in Indonesia’s regulated derivatives market. DXtrade combines trading execution tools with brokerage-side risk controls, a structure designed for firms offering leveraged products such as CFDs and FX contracts.
CFDs allow traders to take positions on price movements without owning the underlying asset. Because the products commonly use leverage, broker controls over margin, pricing, exposure and liquidation settings can have a direct effect on how accounts are managed during volatile markets.
Web and mobile access form part of the rollout
Valbury said the DXtrade deployment will cover browser-based trading and mobile access, with a dedicated application included in the planned offering. The release did not provide a launch date for each channel, nor did it specify which CFD instruments Valbury will make available through the platform.
The platform includes a trading dashboard, a trading journal, advanced charting tools and multi-currency account views, according to the announcement. These features give clients a consolidated view of open positions, trading activity and balances held in different currencies.
Its charting package includes more than 100 technical analysis tools, the release said. Such tools can help traders examine historical price data through indicators, trend lines and other visual overlays, though they do not remove the risks associated with fast-moving FX or CFD markets.
The multi-currency balance function may be particularly relevant for clients trading products denominated in different currencies. It allows users to view account values across supported currency balances rather than relying on a single base-currency display. The announcement did not state whether the platform will support balances connected to cryptocurrency assets or crypto-linked CFDs in Indonesia.
Broker controls extend beyond the trading screen
DXtrade is built as a multi-asset system that can be deployed as a ready-made platform or customized in full or in part, Devexperts said. For a brokerage, that flexibility can determine how closely a client platform is connected to internal risk policies, branding, product menus and dealing operations.
Alongside the retail-facing interface, the software includes settings intended for brokers to monitor market exposure and configure dealing rules. These functions can help a brokerage oversee the aggregate positions held by its clients, set trading conditions and manage risks that emerge when markets move sharply.
The release described the system as supporting controls intended to help firms comply with local trading rules while giving clients visibility over their account funds. It did not detail the precise regulatory requirements that Valbury’s implementation will address.
Indonesian commodity futures and derivatives brokers operate in a regulatory environment where approved trading infrastructure has become a practical constraint on market access. The announcement said the relevant state commodities authority approved DXtrade for licensing in August 2026, making it one of two platforms eligible for use by local brokers. No details were provided on the other approved platform.
That limited approval status could make platform availability a more consequential competitive factor than ordinary software upgrades. Brokers that can license an approved system may be able to introduce modern web and mobile interfaces without building an in-house trading platform and pursuing a separate approval path.
Devexperts targets Indonesian brokerage market
Devexperts, a capital-markets software developer founded in 2002, has positioned DXtrade as a platform for brokers offering multiple asset classes. The company said its product reflects more than two decades of development work in trading technology.
Athaide, managing director for Asia Pacific at Devexperts, described DXtrade in the release as a product shaped by that experience. Limantara, a director at Valbury, was also cited in connection with the platform’s feature set and the brokerage’s decision to add it.
The announcement does not indicate whether Valbury will migrate existing clients from another system or operate DXtrade alongside its current platforms. It also does not disclose commercial terms, expected client numbers or projected trading volumes.
For Indonesian FX and CFD traders, the immediate change is likely to be the availability of a new interface with mobile access, account reporting and more extensive charting. For Valbury, the more operational change sits behind the screen: an approved platform that combines client execution tools with controls over exposure and dealing configuration in a market where platform licensing is limited.
