Three blockchain projects have opened new onboarding programs that tie early participation to identity setup, testnet activity, and points accumulation, moving beyond the social-media-only campaigns that have dominated many token launches. Flop Labs is directing users through a validator-registration path built around decentralized identifiers, while TermiX and Rialo have introduced points-based systems linked to agent creation and sandbox activity.
The programs differ sharply in what they ask users to do. Flop Labs’ process requires participants to create a did:key identity through a public code repository and complete a sequence of signed public actions. TermiX rewards users for establishing an Agent profile and registering automated agents. Rialo’s early program is centered on using its Playground test environment, where its available experience currently consists of an “Agent Grand Prix.”
Together, the launches show projects experimenting with more traceable forms of early-user activity. A wallet connection or a repost can be easy to automate or duplicate across accounts. An identity credential, an agent profile, or a testnet interaction creates a more detailed record of how an account engaged with a project’s software.
Flop Labs links validator registration to decentralized identity
Flop Labs, announced on Aug. 18 by BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes, describes itself as a native monetary network and settlement layer for verifiable computation in the AI agent economy. Verifiable computation refers to systems where a party can check that a computing task was executed correctly without independently repeating all of the work.
The project’s roadmap includes a planned fourth-quarter 2026 airdrop, with 20.4% of the total token supply allocated to that distribution. The roadmap provides the broadest stated incentive for users considering the validator-registration process, although Flop Labs has not presented the registration flow itself as a guarantee of any token allocation.
Its validator path begins with the public GitHub repository technocore-did-starter, published by Zun. The repository instructs users to use Codex to follow its setup steps and generate a did:key, a decentralized identifier derived from cryptographic keys. Such an identifier can be used to prove control of a digital identity without relying on a conventional centralized account provider.
Participants are then instructed to publish an X post that includes both the Flop Labs account handle, @flop_labs, and their generated did:key. They submit the link to that post to Codex, which directs users through additional signing and proof procedures. Registration is completed through the Flop Labs website by selecting the “Validator” option and submitting the relevant form.
The process also asks users to reply to the original X post after completing the Codex prompts. That creates a public trail connecting a social account, an identifier, and a signing process. For a network considering validator participation, this could offer a more structured filter than a standard wallet-registration page, though it also introduces more technical steps than a typical airdrop campaign.
The process is particularly relevant to Flop Labs’ stated focus on AI agents and verifiable work. If the network intends to reward useful computation or validator services, a registration mechanism built around persistent cryptographic identities would give it a starting point for tracking activity across later phases.
TermiX offers points for agent profiles and registrations
TermiX has taken a less technical route for its initial user program. The project markets itself as an AI-native decentralized application framework for developers, built around a React component library that can add AI chat functions and on-chain automation to Web3 applications.
According to TermiX, its framework also supports customization and white-label deployment. It has integrated Google’s Agent Payment Protocol, which TermiX says is designed to support agent-driven payments and on-chain transactions without requiring a manual action for every step.
The onboarding flow is hosted at Agent Family. Users sign in, apply for an Agent domain name, choose an avatar, and complete basic profile information. The instructions state that this setup requires a small gas fee, meaning users must pay a network transaction cost to finalize at least part of the process.
The project’s points page offers 1,000 points for completing two social tasks. Users can also earn 200 points for each registered agent, with rewards available for up to two agents. The structure gives a user who completes all described tasks a straightforward path to build an initial balance, but TermiX has not stated in the supplied materials whether points will convert into tokens, access rights, or another future benefit.
TermiX’s design places the agent itself at the center of participation. Rather than treating the user’s wallet as the sole unit of engagement, it encourages people to create named AI-agent profiles that could later interact with payment, chat, or automation tools. That approach fits the project’s developer-oriented product pitch, though its immediate points tasks remain relatively lightweight compared with Flop Labs’ identity and proof workflow.
Rialo opens a test environment with agent grand prix
Rialo announced its points system on Aug. 22 and opened access to its Playground test environment. Built by Subzero Labs, Rialo calls itself a “Real-World Blockchain” designed to connect decentralized applications with real-world data while emphasizing performance and usability.
Users can enter the Playground through Google sign-in, request test tokens by selecting “Request $RIALO,” and access the available ecosystem experience. The current environment is limited to Agent Grand Prix, a racing-themed activity that gives users a way to interact with the network before a broader application set is available.
Test tokens have no stated market value and are used to support trial interactions within the environment. The setup makes Rialo’s early campaign more accessible to users who may not be comfortable managing development tools or decentralized identity keys, although the limited range of available features means participation is currently focused on a single experiment.
Rialo previously reported a $20 million seed round in August 2025 led by Pantera Capital, with Variant and Coinbase Ventures participating. That funding provides context for the project’s effort to build a public test environment, but the points program remains an early-stage engagement initiative rather than evidence of a completed production network.
Early access campaigns are becoming more product-led
The three programs illustrate separate approaches to attracting early users. Flop Labs emphasizes proof and identity, likely suited to a network that expects validators or computational participants to establish a lasting record. TermiX uses points to encourage users to create the AI-agent identities that underpin its framework. Rialo is using a test environment to introduce participants to an application experience before its ecosystem expands.
Users considering any of the programs should treat points, testnet tasks, and registration steps as participation tools rather than promised financial rewards. Flop Labs has publicly outlined a future airdrop allocation, while the supplied materials do not establish token conversion terms for the TermiX or Rialo points programs.
For projects, the practical challenge is whether these systems can identify meaningful usage without making onboarding so complex that ordinary users abandon it. Flop Labs has chosen the most demanding route; TermiX and Rialo have made entry simpler, but will need later stages that show whether their profiles and testnet activity translate into sustained use of their underlying software.
