Qapture Investments Ltd. has launched an on-chain stablecoin strategy for professional and institutional clients, offering managed exposure to USD-backed stablecoin liquidity pools through a structure that combines defi execution with daily net asset value reporting, approved wallet addresses and identity-verified access.
The Bermuda-based digital asset manager said on Nov. 3 that the Qapture Safe Haven Vault, branded QHVN-USD, is designed for qualified high-net-worth, professional and institutional participants seeking returns on stablecoin holdings. Eligible U.S. advisory clients may gain access through Protocol Wealth, LLC, a Denver-based SEC-registered investment adviser, subject to that firm's suitability and due-diligence procedures.
Qapture's launch places a familiar defi strategy providing liquidity for token swaps inside a separately managed account framework aimed at clients that require controlled onboarding, reporting and custody arrangements before using on-chain markets directly.
Stablecoin liquidity strategy delivered through a vault
According to Qapture, QHVN-USD allocates to liquidity positions involving major USD stablecoin pairs on established decentralized-finance protocols. Liquidity providers deposit assets into pools that facilitate swaps between tokens and typically receive a share of fees generated by trading activity.
The firm said its mandate applies defined risk limits to those positions, although its announcement did not detail allocation caps, eligible protocols, target returns or fee terms. Qapture said the strategy has operated for more than three years, while also cautioning that prior performance does not indicate future results.
The product is delivered through a smart-contract-based vault, a structure in which assets are managed according to programmed rules. Qapture said vault holdings and performance data can be viewed on-chain, with holdings calculated and published daily.
This design gives participants a more direct view of portfolio activity than is available in many conventional private fund structures. It also leaves the investment manager responsible for decisions such as protocol selection, position sizing and the application of the mandate's risk limits.
Assets moving through the vault are restricted to an approved list of blockchain addresses, Qapture said. The platform also requires know-your-customer and know-your-business verification before users can access its products, limiting participation to verified eligible clients rather than open public access.
Redemptions remain subject to managed-account terms
Qapture said withdrawal requests can be made at any time, though redemptions are processed under the terms of the investment management agreement governing each separately managed account. That distinction matters for a defi product marketed around on-chain transparency: the underlying assets may operate through smart contracts, while client access and liquidity remain governed by contractual management arrangements.
The company described QHVN-USD as unavailable to retail participants. Its offering is limited to eligible professional, accredited and institutional clients under applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
For U.S. clients, Protocol Wealth may make the strategy available to qualifying advisory customers. Protocol Wealth's involvement provides an advisory distribution channel, rather than transferring investment-management responsibility for the portfolio itself. Qapture Investments (BVI) Ltd. manages the strategy, according to the announcement.
Qapture said its British Virgin Islands entity is approved as an Approved Investment Manager by the British Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission. The firm also manages Qapture Digital Asset Fund Ltd., a private fund registered with the Bermuda Monetary Authority, alongside the QHVN-USD separately managed accounts.
Technology providers divide operational roles
Qapture named several outside infrastructure providers supporting the vault, separating technology, reporting, wallet security and monitoring functions from the investment-management role.
Midas, a product of Aegis Labs, provides the white-label vault infrastructure, according to Qapture. The company said that includes token issuance, oracle-based net asset value pricing and mint-and-redeem functions. Qapture said Midas supports more than $1 billion in assets across institutional vault products and more than $4 billion in total assets minted.
Daily portfolio reporting and NAV accounting are handled by 1Token, Qapture said. The manager said 1Token supports more than $20 billion in global asset monitoring. Daily pricing is particularly relevant for a strategy holding positions across decentralized protocols, where portfolio values can change with pool balances, transaction fees and the market value of any assets received through the strategy.
Fordefi supplies the vault's multi-party computation, or MPC, wallet infrastructure, Qapture said. MPC divides control of cryptographic signing between multiple parties or systems, reducing dependence on a single private key. Qapture said Fordefi secures more than $64 billion in monthly transaction volume for more than 350 institutions.
Nemean Services acts as a third-party provider for disaster recovery and backup key material, according to Qapture. Hypernative provides real-time monitoring and threat detection covering on-chain activity and the underlying protocols used by the strategy.
Qapture said those vendors provide operational technology and support services, and do not manage QHVN-USD's investments.
Transparency does not remove protocol and stablecoin risk
The launch reflects growing demand for structures that can give professional clients access to on-chain yield strategies without requiring each participant to manage wallets, protocol interactions and reporting independently. Yet the controls described by Qapture address only part of the risk profile.
Stablecoin liquidity pools can face smart-contract vulnerabilities, problems with an underlying stablecoin's peg, reduced liquidity during market stress, oracle failures and losses associated with protocol exploits. Even pools made up of dollar-linked assets can produce uneven outcomes if one asset trades below its intended value or if a decentralized protocol suffers a security incident.
Qapture acknowledged that returns are not guaranteed and that clients could lose principal. The company also said digital assets and defi protocols carry material risks, while withdrawals remain subject to the applicable management agreement.
Qapture Investments Ltd. said it is the digital asset management arm of the Pye family office and was founded by Frederick Pye, founder of 3iQ Corp. Its new vault brings that manager's stablecoin liquidity strategy into a more formalized operational package, where on-chain visibility sits alongside gated access, managed-account documentation and third-party infrastructure.
