Ondo Finance has expanded its Ondo Intelligent Portfolios range to seven products, adding four tokenized multi-asset portfolios designed to package equity themes, crypto exposure and income-focused strategies into single onchain tokens.
The new products—MAG7Xon, BRAINon, YLD5on and YLD8on—are available to eligible users outside the United States on Ethereum and BNB Chain, according to Ondo’s Oct. 2 announcement. They join three existing portfolios that Ondo said are powered by BlackRock.
The rollout gives non-U.S. users a larger set of preset portfolio choices within the company’s tokenized-finance platform. Rather than buying and maintaining several separate positions, users can gain exposure to the assets selected for a strategy through one token, with portfolio composition and rebalancing rules defined by the product design.
Ondo said the products can be accessed through wallets, exchanges and decentralized-finance applications. The company did not provide the asset allocations, fees, rebalancing schedules or risk disclosures for the four new portfolios in its announcement.
Four strategies target tech, crypto and income
MAG7Xon is built around the “Magnificent 7” group of major U.S. technology companies and cryptocurrency exposure. The label commonly refers to Alphabet, Amazon, Apple, Meta Platforms, Microsoft, Nvidia and Tesla, although Ondo’s announcement did not specify the exact holdings or weightings used in the portfolio.
BRAINon focuses on companies positioned as artificial-intelligence leaders. AI-linked equities have become a prominent market theme as demand for computing infrastructure, semiconductor capacity, cloud services and AI software has increased. A tokenized portfolio could give users a route to that theme without individually managing each underlying position, though its performance would remain dependent on the selected assets and the portfolio’s allocation rules.
YLD5on and YLD8on are designed around targeted income levels of 5% and 8%, respectively. Ondo described these as income portfolios, but a target is not a fixed return or a guarantee. The products’ eventual results would depend on the instruments they hold, prevailing market conditions, expenses and any changes made through their rebalancing methodology.
The names signal a move beyond single-asset tokenization toward packaged strategies. Tokenized U.S. stocks and funds have generally provided onchain representations of individual securities or exchange-traded funds. Ondo’s portfolio structure instead groups multiple exposures into a single token, applying allocation and rebalancing decisions at the product level.
Onchain access with preset allocation rules
Ondo said every Intelligent Portfolio combines several assets into one onchain token and offers transparent holdings information. The arrangement is intended to deliver diversified exposure through a single position while retaining blockchain-based transferability and compatibility with supported applications.
In practice, users would not need to execute separate trades for each component asset when entering a portfolio. That could simplify access to a thematic basket or an income-oriented allocation, especially for users operating primarily through self-custody wallets and DeFi interfaces.
The simplification also shifts several decisions from the user to the portfolio’s design. Asset selection, target weights, rebalancing triggers and changes to the basket can shape returns and risk as much as the broad theme in a product’s name. A portfolio linked to AI leaders, for example, may still be concentrated in a small group of large technology companies. A portfolio targeting income may face interest-rate, credit or other market risks depending on its holdings.
Ondo has not stated in the supplied announcement whether the Intelligent Portfolios use tokenized stocks, tokenized ETFs, digital assets, stablecoins, yield-bearing instruments or a combination of those categories. That composition will be central for users assessing how closely each product matches its stated strategy.
Built on Ondo’s tokenized-markets platform
Ondo Finance operates a platform for tokenized real-world assets and onchain financial products. Its Ondo Global Markets service offers issuance and redemption for tokenized exposure to publicly traded U.S. stocks and ETFs for eligible users outside the United States.
According to Ondo, tokens issued through Global Markets are fully backed by the associated stock or ETF, together with cash in transit. That backing model is relevant for the company’s expanding product suite because it connects blockchain-issued tokens with traditional market instruments rather than relying solely on synthetic price tracking.
The Intelligent Portfolios announcement does not state that all four new products use Global Markets tokens, and it does not detail the legal or custody arrangements behind each portfolio. Ondo said only that the portfolios are available to eligible non-U.S. users, underscoring that access is restricted by jurisdiction.
The inclusion of Ethereum and BNB Chain gives the products reach across two widely used blockchain ecosystems. Ethereum has long been the main venue for tokenized-assets development and decentralized finance, while BNB Chain offers a separate user base and application network. Supporting both chains could make the portfolios accessible across a wider range of wallets and onchain venues without requiring users to stay on one network.
Portfolio tokens extend the tokenization model
The expansion places Ondo among firms attempting to make tokenized financial products resemble familiar portfolio tools rather than standalone digital versions of individual assets. A single token representing a managed basket can be easier to hold and transfer than a collection of separate tokenized securities, but it also requires users to understand the rules governing the basket.
For cryptocurrency users, the format may be particularly relevant where onchain collateral, lending protocols or treasury-management tools can interact with tokenized assets. Whether such integrations emerge for the new portfolios will depend on third-party platforms, liquidity and the eligibility controls attached to the products.
Ondo said it plans to introduce additional onchain portfolios over time. The immediate test for MAG7Xon, BRAINon, YLD5on and YLD8on will be whether their underlying holdings, target methodologies and access terms provide enough clarity for users to assess them as financial products rather than simply as tradable tokens.
