Bybit co-founder and CEO Zhou is set to outline the company’s plan to expand beyond cryptocurrency trading during a global keynote scheduled for Oct. 13, 2026, at 7 a.m. UTC. The livestream, titled “Make your move,” will focus on the company’s view that digital assets, traditional finance, stablecoins and tokenized real-world assets are moving closer together.
Bybit said the presentation will explain how it is building its platform around that convergence, with planned discussions covering market access, money management and tools for discovering financial opportunities. The company said it has more than 80 million users worldwide.
The keynote is positioned as a product and strategy presentation rather than a market forecast. Bybit said viewers will receive early looks at upcoming launches, though it did not disclose the products or services ahead of the event.
Four themes frame the keynote
The agenda is organized around four themes, beginning with “The evolution of finance.” Bybit described this section as an examination of how crypto markets, traditional markets, stablecoins and real-world assets are coming together.
Stablecoins have become an increasingly practical bridge between conventional payment systems and on-chain markets, while tokenized real-world assets aim to represent instruments such as funds, bonds or other financial claims on blockchain networks. Bringing those categories into a single discussion signals that Bybit intends to present its platform as a place where users could eventually navigate more than spot crypto assets and derivatives.
“The new financial platform” will address Bybit’s stated expansion from a crypto exchange into a broader platform spanning additional markets and services. The company did not specify which traditional-market products it plans to support, or whether any future offerings would vary by country and local regulatory rules.
That detail will be central to the keynote’s practical value. A platform that combines more products can reduce the need for users to move assets among separate services, but the range of instruments available to an individual user will depend on licensing, jurisdiction and eligibility requirements. Bybit’s presentation may offer a clearer view of how far the company expects that expansion to extend.
AI is part of Bybit’s product pitch
A third section, “Intelligence at the core,” will focus on Bybit AI, according to the company. Bybit said the feature is intended to affect how users find, understand and navigate markets and platform services.
The announcement does not define the underlying functions of Bybit AI or identify specific tools that will be launched. In a trading environment where users face large volumes of market data, product choices and risk information, AI-based interfaces are commonly presented as ways to streamline search, surface information and guide users through a platform.
The distinction between discovery tools and automated financial decisions will matter. Users may welcome software that helps organize market information or locate relevant services, while products that go further into recommendations or execution can carry more complex questions around suitability, transparency and user control. Bybit said its keynote will explain the role the technology plays in its platform.
The final theme, “Building for what comes next,” covers innovation, international expansion, security, risk management and regulatory foundations. That combination places operational safeguards alongside product growth, a necessary focus for a company seeking to add services and reach users in multiple markets.
Bybit has not provided further details on regulatory approvals, security upgrades or risk-management changes connected to the keynote. The Oct. 13 presentation is expected to provide the company’s own account of how those areas fit into its roadmap.
Livestream includes user competitions
Bybit will pair the keynote with three viewer activities offering a combined prize pool of up to 5,000 USDT. The activities are a live keyword draw, a keynote quiz and a best-clip contest.
The quiz is scheduled to close on Oct. 15, 2026, while the deadline for the clip contest is Oct. 20, 2026. Bybit did not provide additional terms in the announcement beyond directing users to its keynote event page.
The event’s emphasis on product previews means the most concrete announcements are likely to come during the livestream rather than beforehand. For users of the platform, the presentation could clarify whether Bybit’s planned expansion will deliver new market categories, new account-management tools or AI-driven features first.
