Crypto deposits go through several steps before they are credited to your Toobit account. This may include processing by the sending platform, blockchain confirmations, and final processing by Toobit.
If your deposit has not arrived yet, one of the following may be the reason.
1. Your transaction is still awaiting blockchain confirmation
Once a transfer is submitted to the blockchain, it needs to be processed and confirmed by the network. How long this takes can vary depending on network conditions and the transaction fee paid by the sender.
You can find the transaction hash (TxID) on the sending platform or in your wallet and enter it into the relevant blockchain explorer to check the transaction status.
If no transaction has been submitted to the blockchain yet, please contact the sending platform for an update.
2. Your transaction has not reached the required number of confirmations
Each cryptocurrency and network may have different confirmation requirements. Even if your transaction appears successful on the blockchain, additional confirmations may be required before Toobit can credit the deposit to your account.
Check the required number of confirmations shown on the Toobit deposit page. If your transaction has not reached that number yet, please allow more time for the remaining confirmations.
3. The blockchain network is congested
Periods of high network activity can slow down transaction processing and confirmations. As a result, your deposit may take longer than usual to arrive.
You can use the relevant blockchain explorer to monitor your transaction while you wait.
4. Your deposit requires an additional security review
In some cases, a deposit may require an additional security review even after the necessary blockchain confirmations have been completed. While the review is in progress, the funds may not yet appear in your available balance.
To help protect accounts and transactions and meet anti-money laundering and other compliance requirements, Toobit may need to verify where the funds came from or request additional information about a transaction.
Being asked to complete a review does not mean you have violated any rules. It simply means we need additional information to complete the necessary checks.
4.1 Why may Toobit ask about my source of wealth or source of funds?
Source of wealth and source of funds information helps us understand where assets come from and conduct the necessary compliance checks.
-
Source of Wealth (SoW): How you accumulated your overall wealth, such as through employment, business activities, investments, or inheritance.
-
Source of Funds (SoF): Where the funds used for a specific deposit came from, such as salary savings, investment returns, or proceeds from selling an asset.
The two can be related, but they are not necessarily the same. For example, you may have accumulated most of your wealth through years of employment, while the funds for a particular deposit came from a recent property sale. Your source of funds therefore does not have to be the same as your regular source of income.
4.2 What should I do if my deposit is under review?
Please contact customer support and provide any information or documents requested. Our team will guide you through the verification process and follow up on your case.
4.3 Can I continue using my existing deposit address during the review?
Please follow the instructions provided by our support team. If you are asked to stop using your existing deposit address, do not send any additional funds to that address.
We will let you know if your deposit address needs to be updated and when you can resume making deposits.
4.4 How can I check the status of my review?
You can contact customer support for an update. Review times vary depending on the checks required, so please also keep an eye out for any updates from our team.
What should I do if my deposit still has not arrived?
If your deposit has reached the required number of blockchain confirmations but has still not been credited, or if you need help determining its status, please contact customer support. Providing your TxID and relevant deposit details can help our team investigate the issue.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
