Professional investors holding units of PrimePlus SPC - USDGO Plus SP through OSL can now request same-day redemption proceeds under OSL Group's new Instant Redemption feature for selected tokenised real-world asset products.
OSL Group announced the service on 2 November 2026, placing USDGO Plus SP among the first products covered by the platform function. Eligible users may redeem designated products and receive proceeds on the same day, provided they meet the platform's professional-investor requirements and the relevant product terms.
The feature changes the platform's settlement experience rather than the structure of the fund itself. USDGO Plus SP's redemption rules, registration status, offering documents, risk disclosures and eligibility conditions remain unchanged, according to the release.
Same-day redemption remains subject to fund and platform conditions
Instant Redemption is available only for products specifically designated by OSL and only to users whom the platform has verified and accepted as professional investors. It does not create an unrestricted cash-out mechanism for all fund holders or all tokenised products listed through the platform.
The release also states that eligible products may be subscribed for and redeemed in USDGO, allowing qualifying users to use the stablecoin as a settlement asset for the covered fund units. The availability of USDGO settlement remains subject to the terms attached to each product and the client's eligibility.
Same-day processing could make tokenised fund units more practical for professional market participants who want quicker access to redemption proceeds than conventional fund settlement schedules may offer. Yet the service does not remove the underlying considerations that normally govern a fund redemption, including product dealing arrangements, applicable cut-off times and the platform's operational requirements.
OSL's announcement frames Instant Redemption as a platform feature. It does not amend the fund's strategy or offer a guarantee against losses in the fund's portfolio.
OSL retains custody and distribution role
USDGO Plus SP is a segregated portfolio of PrimePlus SPC, a Cayman Islands segregated portfolio company registered with the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority as a mutual fund.
Under a co-operation framework between 2WA and OSL, fund units remain in custody through OSL. 2WA does not custody client fund units, according to the release. OSL continues to provide both custody and distribution services for USDGO Plus SP.
That arrangement separates the platform's role in holding and distributing the units from the fund vehicle's legal structure. The Instant Redemption function applies to eligible holdings through OSL rather than changing who controls the fund assets or who acts as custodian for client units.
Segregated portfolio structures are designed to separate the assets and liabilities of different portfolios within the same Cayman company. For holders of USDGO Plus SP, the relevant product remains the specific segregated portfolio and its own offering terms, rather than PrimePlus SPC's other portfolios.
Hong Kong access remains limited to professional investors
The fund has not been authorised by Hong Kong's Securities and Futures Commission under Section 104 of the Securities and Futures Ordinance, Cap. 571. Its offering documents have not been reviewed by any Hong Kong regulatory authority, the release says.
Interests in USDGO Plus SP may therefore be offered in Hong Kong only to professional investors and only on the basis of the fund's offering documents. The limitation is central to the product's distribution model: access to Instant Redemption does not expand the fund to retail users.
Clients seeking to use the feature will need to complete OSL's professional-investor verification process and satisfy the requirements attached to the relevant designated product. Eligibility is determined by the platform and remains subject to applicable terms and conditions.
The announcement also addresses the treatment of stablecoins used in connection with the products. It says referenced stablecoins may constitute "specified stablecoins" under Hong Kong's Stablecoin Ordinance, Cap. 656.
According to the release, neither the issuers of those stablecoins nor OSL Digital Securities Limited is licensed under that ordinance to conduct regulated stablecoin activities in Hong Kong. OSL Digital Securities Limited is a permitted offeror under the ordinance and offers the products in Hong Kong only to clients it has verified and accepted as professional investors.
Faster processing does not reduce fund risk
The release warns that digital asset fund investments carry substantial risk, including the possible loss of the entire amount invested. Same-day redemption processing affects how qualifying users receive proceeds after a redemption request; it does not protect the value of the units being redeemed.
USDGO Plus SP's market-neutral approach also does not eliminate risk. Market-neutral strategies generally seek to reduce exposure to broad price movements by balancing long and short positions, but their results can still be affected by execution, counterparty, liquidity and financing conditions.
OSL's release specifically notes that funding rates may become negative. In derivatives markets, funding is a periodic payment exchanged between participants holding opposing positions. Negative rates can turn an expected source of income into a cost, potentially affecting strategy returns even when a portfolio is designed to limit directional exposure.
Professional users considering subscriptions or redemptions in USDGO will also need to assess the fund documentation, the stablecoin settlement terms and their own liquidity needs. The new service may shorten the path from an eligible redemption request to proceeds, but it does not alter the fund's investment risks, regulatory limits or the warning that past performance is not indicative of future results.
