Four applications in the TRON ecosystem — B.AI, SUN.io, JustLend DAO and BitTorrent — have added MetaMask connectivity, giving users of the wallet direct access to trading, lending, staking, storage and AI-agent services without moving between separate wallet tools. The integration, dated Sept. 10 and updated Sept. 15, also allows MetaMask users to manage TRON-based assets and send tokens including TRX and USDT from the wallet interface.
The rollout extends MetaMask’s utility for users who already hold assets across multiple blockchain networks. TRON applications have often required network-specific wallets or additional setup, particularly for lending markets, liquidity pools and transactions that consume the network’s energy resource. Connecting those services to a widely used multichain wallet could reduce the number of steps needed to enter TRON-based decentralized finance.
Each of the four integrations covers a different part of the ecosystem. SUN.io brings decentralized trading and liquidity provision; JustLend DAO adds lending, borrowing and energy-rental tools; BitTorrent connects blockchain interoperability and decentralized storage services; and B.AI offers infrastructure intended for AI agents making authenticated on-chain payments.
One wallet interface for four TRON services
MetaMask access gives users a common wallet environment for signing transactions and handling TRON assets while interacting with the participating applications. The change does not combine the services into one protocol, but it places them behind a familiar wallet connection method.
That could be particularly useful for users moving between TRON’s stablecoin markets, lending pools and decentralized exchanges. Rather than maintaining a separate wallet setup for each activity, a user could connect the same MetaMask account to SUN.io for a swap, JustLend DAO for a borrowing position, and BitTorrent services for cross-chain or storage-related functions.
The integration also brings TRON into MetaMask workflows that have historically centered on Ethereum-compatible networks. TRON’s transaction model differs from Ethereum’s in several areas, including its use of bandwidth and energy resources. JustLend DAO’s energy-rental feature is therefore included alongside its lending functions, giving users a way to obtain network resources needed to process certain transactions.
SUN.io adds SunSwap V4 liquidity pools
SUN.io said it has more than $650 million in total value locked across more than 26,000 liquidity pools. Its MetaMask integration includes access to SunSwap V4, the platform’s automated market maker.
SunSwap V4 uses programmable hooks within liquidity pools, according to SUN.io. Hooks are pieces of code that can trigger customized actions during trading or liquidity events. They can be used to tailor pool behavior beyond the standard fixed rules of an automated market maker, although their practical use depends on the specific pool design and smart contracts deployed.
For liquidity providers, direct wallet access could make it easier to monitor or adjust positions without leaving the MetaMask environment. For traders, the connection expands the routes available for exchanging TRON-based tokens, including stablecoins that play a large role in the network’s transaction activity.
The integration does not remove the usual decentralized-exchange risks. Liquidity providers remain exposed to token-price movements, smart-contract conditions and potential losses from changes in the relative price of assets held in a pool.
JustLend DAO brings lending and energy rental to MetaMask
JustLend DAO said its platform holds more than $7 billion in total value locked, while the wider JUST Network has more than $7.6 billion in total value locked. The protocol’s MetaMask connection covers borrowing, lending, staking, yield products and energy rental.
The lending markets support tokens including TRX, BTT, JST, NFT, USDT, TUSD and USDD, according to JustLend DAO. Users can supply supported assets to earn yield or deposit collateral to borrow other assets, subject to the protocol’s collateral requirements and market parameters.
Adding MetaMask could lower the operational friction for users who already manage multichain portfolios through the wallet and want to access TRON lending markets. It also gives JustLend DAO a more direct route to wallet users accustomed to Ethereum Virtual Machine-compatible applications, even though TRON has its own account and resource structure.
JustLend DAO said the listed tokens received statutory recognition as authorized digital currency and a medium of exchange in the Commonwealth of Dominica. That status is separate from how the assets are treated in other jurisdictions and does not change the lending risks associated with collateralized crypto markets.
BitTorrent links interoperability and decentralized storage
BitTorrent’s integration covers its wider blockchain stack, including BitTorrent Chain, known as BTTC, and the BitTorrent File System, or BTFS.
BTTC is designed to support interoperability between TRON, Ethereum and BNB Chain, according to BitTorrent. The chain uses a proof-of-stake mechanism and is compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine, allowing applications and smart contracts designed for EVM environments to be adapted for use on the network.
BTFS provides decentralized file storage, placing BitTorrent’s long-standing file-sharing brand alongside blockchain-based storage infrastructure. MetaMask connectivity could make these services easier to reach for users already working across Ethereum and BNB Chain, where the wallet is commonly used.
BitTorrent said BTT, its governance token — also called BTTOLD on the TRON Protocol — received statutory status as authorized digital currency and a medium of exchange in Dominica on Oct. 7, 2022.
B.AI targets machine-to-machine payments
B.AI’s contribution to the rollout is aimed at AI agents that need to identify themselves and make on-chain payments. The project said its architecture includes the x402 payment protocol, the 8004 identity-authentication protocol, an MCP Server and BAIclaw.
The model is designed for software agents rather than only human wallet users. On-chain identity and payment components could allow an agent to authenticate, request a service, pay for it and leave an auditable transaction record through blockchain infrastructure.
That remains an early and technically demanding use case. AI agents handling transactions need tightly defined permissions, limits on spending and reliable identity controls. MetaMask connectivity gives B.AI a recognizable wallet access point, but the value of the system will depend on whether developers build services that require autonomous, verifiable payments.
The four integrations place trading, lending, cross-chain tools, storage and AI-payment infrastructure behind a single wallet connection layer. For TRON applications, the immediate benefit is distribution: services that previously depended more heavily on TRON-specific user setups can now reach MetaMask users through a familiar interface while retaining their separate protocols and risk profiles.
