JustMarkets said it has launched an installation-free WebTerminal for MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5, giving its CFD trading clients browser-based access to their accounts without downloading desktop software or completing device-specific setup.
The broker announced the service on Oct. 2, 2026, describing it as an option for traders who need to check markets, manage positions, or place orders away from their usual trading workstation. Users can log in through a compatible web browser on an internet-connected device, according to the company.
The rollout focuses on convenience rather than replacing every function available in MetaTrader’s desktop applications. JustMarkets said the web version supports account access, charts, technical indicators, order management, and open-position controls, while certain automated trading functions, including Expert Advisors, remain tied to the desktop version.
Browser access for MT4 and MT5 accounts
JustMarkets said its WebTerminal allows clients to use both MT4 and MT5 trading accounts online without installing additional software. The setup could appeal to traders moving between a home computer, office device, tablet, or other machine where downloading applications is impractical or restricted.
The company said the browser interface brings common trading functions together in one screen. These include opening and closing positions, monitoring active orders, reviewing charts, applying indicators, and checking existing exposure.
That design addresses a practical limitation of desktop-only trading: access can depend on having the correct program installed and configured on the device in use. A browser terminal gives a client a route into an existing account without requiring that device to serve as a permanent trading workstation.
The product is aimed at active CFD traders, who may need to react to price changes while away from their primary screens. JustMarkets said the service is intended to provide faster access through a browser login rather than through a fresh software installation.
The web platform retains core manual trading tools
According to JustMarkets, the WebTerminal includes real-time charting, multiple indicators, order types, and tools for managing open positions. These are the functions most relevant to manual trading decisions, such as reviewing a price chart before entering an order or adjusting a position already in the market.
The availability of order and position controls in a browser matters most when account access is temporary. A trader switching computers does not need to recreate a full platform setup before viewing exposure or responding to a changing market.
JustMarkets did not present the browser terminal as a complete substitute for its desktop platform. The company specifically named Expert Advisors as a feature requiring the desktop version of MetaTrader. Expert Advisors are automated programs that can execute or manage trades based on predefined instructions, so their exclusion places the web tool primarily in the category of manual access and account management.
That distinction will likely matter for clients who rely on automated strategies, custom software configurations, or locally installed tools. For them, browser access may serve as a backup or supplementary interface rather than a replacement for a desktop trading environment.
Flexibility comes with limits
The broker framed the release around four features: no software installation, access across devices, browser-based market entry, and a consolidated interface for charts, indicators, orders, and positions.
Those features could be particularly useful in workplaces or on tablets where users lack permission to install software. They also reduce the time between gaining access to a new device and reaching a trading account, since the process depends on browser access and credentials rather than an application download.
A web terminal also avoids some device-maintenance issues associated with dedicated desktop software, such as software installation and local configuration. Yet browser access does not eliminate the operational demands of trading. Connection quality, account security, and the limits of the browser interface can still affect how a client uses the service.
JustMarkets’ announcement did not claim that the platform removes trading risk. Its separate risk warning states that Forex and CFD trading involves risk and can result in the loss of invested capital. The firm also said its material is provided for informational purposes and does not constitute investment advice.
A tool for access, not a trading strategy
The launch gives JustMarkets clients another way to reach MT4 and MT5 accounts when their primary device is unavailable. Its practical value rests on access to the core actions required for manual trading: viewing markets, placing or closing orders, and monitoring positions from a browser.
For clients using MetaTrader’s automated functions, the desktop platform remains necessary under the company’s stated product limitations. The WebTerminal therefore extends the broker’s access options without changing the underlying distinction between manual browser trading and automated desktop-based execution.
JustMarkets said clients can access the WebTerminal through a web browser and log in to their existing trading accounts online.
