Let’s be honest: trading fees are the silent killer of a good setup.
With stablecoin 24-hour volume recently crossing $40.65 billion and market capitalization hovering near $280.05 billion, there is a massive amount of liquidity moving rapidly between assets. But in crypto, speed and frequent rotation often translate to a higher volume of transactions. Every time you rebalance your portfolio, hedge, or decide to stop-and-reenter, exchange fees create a cumulative drag on your capital.
At Toobit, we believe your edge shouldn't be dulled by execution costs.
Zero fees meet a cost sensitive market
To give active traders a breather, we’ve introduced zero-fee trading across selected spot pairs from June 26 through September 26, 2026. During this campaign, we are completely removing maker and taker fees on eligible spot markets.
Why does this matter? Look at the baseline. Normally, our spot fees vary by VIP level (maker fees from 0.0750% to 0.0125%, taker fees from 0.1000% to 0.0375%). While a fraction of a percent sounds like pennies, it scales brutally. If you’re a scalper or arbitrage trader moving $1,000,000 in monthly spot volume, standard taker fees can chew up anywhere from $375 to $1,000.
Trading an eligible zero-fee pair keeps that capital inside your account. You can use it for a wider margin of safety, better position sizing, or simply to enjoy the cost reduction.
Traders can review eligible spot markets directly through Toobit spot markets. The page includes a Spot 0 Fees area, which makes it easier to check the market list before placing an order.
How zero fees change BTC and ETH trading math
Bitcoin and Ethereum are the ultimate testing grounds for cost-sensitive trading. They offer the holy trinity of liquidity, volatility, and institutional attention. When BTC is dancing around $65,000 and ETH is moving near $1,900, even minor percentage moves represent serious dollar changes.
Consider a standard $10,000 BTC spot trade. Under normal conditions with a 0.10% taker fee on both sides, your roundtrip execution costs about $20—and that’s before factoring in spreads or price movement. Scale that to a $100,000 roundtrip, and you are staring at a $200 hurdle just to break even.
Zero fees strip that hurdle away on eligible pairs.
This is incredibly relevant in choppy, transitional markets. BTC might be up 3.14% over a seven-day stretch, but it remains down nearly 20% over 90 days. ETH tells a similar story: a 30-day gain near 6.83% mixed with a 90-day decline around 17.05%. In these conditions, traders frequently rotate between stablecoins and crypto exposure. Lower direct fees allow you to adjust your risk without starting every single trade from a cost deficit.
This math also applies to:
-
Dollar-Cost Averaging (DCA): Splitting orders becomes highly practical without the penalty of direct commissions on every small buy.
-
Staged exits: Trimming a position near resistance is easier to justify when partial exits don't feel mathematically inefficient.
Why active traders care about smaller frictions
Trading friction dictates whether a brilliant chart thesis actually survives real-world execution. While scalpers targeting a narrow 0.3% gain normally lose a massive chunk of their edge to a 0.2% roundtrip fee, our zero-fee promo allows them to focus purely on spread, volatility, and discipline.
Arbitrage traders, portfolio rebalancers, and even newer traders testing the waters benefit from this structure. It makes smaller, more frequent adjustments mathematically viable and allows for cleaner learning without letting practice orders drain your balance.
What zero fees do not remove
Let's keep expectations grounded in reality. A fee discount makes a good plan cheaper to execute; it does not magically rescue a terrible trade.

Direct trading commissions |
Removed completely on eligible Toobit spot pairs during the promo. |
|
Bid-ask spreads |
Still present. Buying at the ask and selling at the bid represents a real execution cost. |
|
Slippage |
Still present. Market orders can fill at worse prices when liquidity thins or volatility spikes. |
|
Network & withdrawal fees |
Still present. Chain congestion and funding routes dictate deposit/withdrawal costs. |
|
Market risk |
Unchanged. Price direction and asset volatility still determine the success of the trade. |
The greatest behavioral risk in a zero-fee environment is overtrading. Lower costs can make every candle look tradable, especially when assets are moving within tight ranges. This mindset can erode accounts through poor timing and emotional exits. Furthermore, no fee campaign overrides the need for strict personal security—two-factor authentication, address checks, and anti-phishing habits are mandatory to protect your capital.
How traders can use zero fees with discipline
The biggest psychological trap of zero fees is overtrading. When costs drop, every minor candle looks like an opportunity. To maximize this campaign without falling into behavioral traps, stick to these rules:
-
Verify liquidity: Stick to deep markets to minimize the impact of the bid-ask spread. Always check the eligible pair list first.
-
Use limit orders: Control your execution price. Market orders offer speed, but you pay for that speed in slippage.
-
Track the real outcome: Log your entries, exits, spreads, and slippage. Treat your reduced costs as hard data, not an excuse to click "buy" out of boredom.
-
Test the waters: Use small trial entries when market conditions are murky.
-
Maintain strict rules: Every trade still needs a defined support level, target area, and maximum loss threshold.
