Predict fun launches Dota 2 prediction rewards

2026-08-13 02:59

Predict.fun has opened a Dota 2 International Invitational prediction campaign with $100,000 in USDT rewards and 5 million platform points, using esports match forecasts to drive activity on its BNB Chain-based prediction markets. The campaign begins with group-stage markets opening on Aug. 13 and will reward the top 1,000 accounts ranked by correct predictions.

The platform said users can select team-related outcomes in the Dota 2 section and lock positions before each match begins. Each match contains nine prediction questions, while the minimum position is set at 20 shares. Correct forecasts earn AP points that determine leaderboard placement and reward eligibility.

Predict.fun’s structure combines event-based prediction markets with yield-generating strategies for funds placed during the forecasting period. Rather than sitting unused while a market remains open, those funds are routed into yield strategies, according to the platform. That design gives the campaign a second incentive beyond match accuracy, though users will need to weigh the platform and smart-contract risks associated with any yield mechanism.

Group stage and finals carry separate reward pools

The first reward period runs from Aug. 13 through Aug. 16, covering group-stage matches. Predict.fun has assigned 25,000 USDT and 1 million PP points to that phase.

A larger final-stage reward window is scheduled for Aug. 20 to Aug. 23, with 75,000 USDT and 4 million PP points available. AP points earned during the group stage will carry into the finals rather than resetting, giving early participants an advantage in the overall leaderboard race.

The uneven prize allocation places most of the campaign’s rewards around the later stages of the tournament, when fewer matches may be available but outcomes are likely to draw greater attention. Carrying scores forward also makes the group stage more than a standalone event: participants seeking a top-1,000 finish may need to establish their ranking before the larger final-phase pool opens.

Prediction-market campaigns have become a common way for on-chain platforms to turn major sporting and entertainment events into time-limited trading activity. Predict.fun’s approach is focused on a defined esports tournament rather than a broader market category, which gives users a schedule of known match windows and clear settlement events.

CheomaYield starts testnet points program on GIWA Chain

CheomaYield has also begun a points program on GIWA Chain’s testnet, describing itself as the network’s first stablecoin yield protocol in that environment. The project said participation begins with obtaining GIWA test tokens through a faucet, followed by claiming 10,000 test USDC in the CheomaYield application.

Users can then perform actions within the testnet application to earn points. Because the program uses faucet-issued test assets, the activity is designed for experimentation rather than deployment of real capital. Points programs on testnets are often used to encourage users to try deposits, withdrawals, swaps, or other protocol functions before a mainnet release, while giving developers transaction and usability feedback.

CheomaYield also published proposed CHEOMA token distribution figures, setting total supply at 100 million tokens with no inflation. Its stated allocation includes 30% for airdrops, 15% for a public sale, 20% for marketing, 10% for liquidity, 10% for reserves, 8% for a private sale, 5% for treasury, 5% for development, and 2% for advisers.

Those listed categories add up to 105%, rather than the stated 100 million-token supply, leaving the allocation breakdown in need of clarification. The project said roughly 45% of tokens would unlock at launch and that 90% of entry and exit fees would go to the Gotgan treasury for market buybacks.

The proposed fee policy would connect user activity to treasury-managed token purchases, though its effect would depend on actual protocol usage, fee levels, treasury operations, and the eventual terms of a mainnet launch. For now, the points program remains limited to GIWA Chain’s testnet environment.

Soar opens waitlist for private-company valuation markets

Separately, Soar has opened early-access registrations for a product intended to let users take long or short positions on the valuations of private companies. The referenced companies include OpenAI, Anthropic, SpaceX, Databricks, Waymo, and Stripe.

The product is currently accessible only through a waitlist. Users are asked to submit an email address through the platform’s “Join waitlist” process, and Soar has not provided a launch date, trading limits, market structure, settlement methodology, or product metrics.

The inclusion of private-company names points toward a product category that aims to create market exposure around companies that do not have publicly traded shares. The precise form of that exposure will matter. A market tied to a private-company valuation could use derivatives, synthetic pricing, prediction contracts, or other mechanisms, each carrying different liquidity, pricing, and settlement considerations.

Private-company valuations can also be harder to verify than public share prices because they may be set in fundraising rounds, tender offers, secondary transactions, or internal company assessments. Any eventual Soar product will need clearly defined reference prices and settlement terms for traders to assess whether a listed market accurately reflects the underlying company valuation.

Across the three announcements, the immediate products differ sharply: Predict.fun is using a scheduled esports event to organize prediction-market activity, CheomaYield is using testnet points to seed protocol participation, and Soar is collecting registrations for a private-company trading concept. Of the launches, Predict.fun provides the most concrete timetable, reward structure, and participation rules, with match markets beginning Aug. 13.
