Waiting for a USDT deposit that has not arrived can be worrying, but a delay does not necessarily mean something went wrong with the transfer.
Your deposit passes through several stages before it reaches your Toobit balance. The sending platform first needs to broadcast the transaction, the blockchain needs to confirm it, and Toobit needs to receive and credit the funds. In some cases, an additional security review may also be required.
Understanding which stage your deposit has reached is usually the quickest way to figure out what is causing the delay.
Has the transaction been sent to the blockchain?
Start by checking whether the sending platform or wallet has actually broadcast your withdrawal.
Submitting a withdrawal does not always mean the transaction has reached the blockchain yet. Some platforms process withdrawals internally before broadcasting them. Until that happens, Toobit cannot detect or credit the deposit.
Look for the transaction ID, or TxID, in your withdrawal history. Once a TxID is available, you can enter it into the appropriate blockchain explorer to check whether the transaction is pending, confirmed, or completed on-chain.
If you're not familiar with blockchain explorers, our guide on how to view block info explains how to check the status of an on-chain transaction.
Why hasn't my USDT arrived if the transaction is successful?
Seeing a successful transaction on a blockchain explorer does not always mean the USDT will appear in your Toobit balance immediately.
Deposits need to reach a required number of blockchain confirmations before they can be credited. The exact requirement can vary depending on the asset and network, so a transaction may already be confirmed on-chain while Toobit is still waiting for enough confirmations.
You can check the required number of confirmations on the relevant Toobit deposit page and compare it with the current confirmation count shown on the blockchain explorer.

Can network congestion delay a USDT deposit?
Yes. USDT is available across multiple blockchain networks, and transaction times depend partly on the network you used.
When activity increases, transactions can take longer to confirm. The fee used by the sending wallet or platform may also affect how quickly a transaction is processed, depending on the network.
If your transaction is already on-chain but has not reached the required number of confirmations, you can use the TxID to follow its progress. Toobit cannot speed up confirmations that are still being processed by the blockchain.
Why is my deposit still pending after enough confirmations?
In some cases, a deposit may require an additional security or compliance review even after the necessary blockchain confirmations have been completed.
These reviews help us protect accounts and meet applicable anti-money laundering, compliance, and risk-control requirements. A review does not necessarily indicate a problem with your account or transaction. We may simply need additional information before the funds can be credited to your balance.
If more information is required, follow the instructions provided and submit the requested details so the review can continue.
Why might Toobit ask about source of wealth or source of funds?
During a review, you may be asked to provide information about your source of wealth or source of funds. They sound similar, but they refer to different things.
Source of wealth describes how you accumulated your overall wealth over time. This could include employment income, business activities, investments, or inheritance.
Source of funds refers specifically to where the money or crypto involved in a particular transaction came from. For example, it could come from salary savings, trading profits, or proceeds from selling an asset.
Imagine that you have built your savings through several years of employment but recently sold an investment and used those proceeds to purchase the USDT you are depositing. Your employment could help explain your source of wealth, while the investment proceeds could explain the source of funds for that particular transaction.
Providing the requested information helps us understand the background of the transaction and complete the necessary review.
What should I check if my USDT deposit is delayed?
The right next step depends on where the transfer currently stands:
-
No TxID yet: Check with the sending platform or wallet to confirm whether the withdrawal has been broadcast.
-
TxID available but still confirming: Follow the transaction on a blockchain explorer and wait for the required confirmations.
-
Confirmations completed: Check your Toobit deposit status to see whether the funds are being credited or require further review.
-
Deposit under review: Provide any requested information and follow the instructions from Toobit customer support.
If the deposit already appears in your transaction history but is missing from your available assets, see why a deposit appears in transaction history but not in the asset list for more information.
A delay does not always mean your funds are lost
If the transaction has reached the required number of confirmations but your USDT still has not been credited, or if you need help with a deposit under review, contact customer support.
Having your TxID and relevant deposit details ready can make it easier for our team to identify the transaction and review what happened.
The key is to identify where the delay is occurring, whether at the sending platform, on the blockchain, or during an additional review. Once you know which stage is holding things up, you will have a clearer idea of what to check or do next.
