Five awards in one year is starting to require a little more shelf space.
We've been named Best Exchange for Trading Tokenized Equities at the CoinGape Global Onchain Awards 2026. It's our fifth award win of 2026 and the first this year specifically recognizing what we've been building across tokenized equities and traditional financial markets.
The Global Onchain Awards recognize companies helping bring traditional and onchain finance closer together. For the Best Exchange/Platform for Trading Tokenized Equities category, factors include tokenized equity listings, trading volume, regulatory compliance, and institutional trading capabilities.
For us, the timing feels fitting. TradFi has become a much bigger part of Toobit this year.
We started with 10 stocks
In February, we launched Stock Futures with 10 major US equities, including Apple (AAPL), Tesla (TSLA), and Nvidia (NVDA), available as USDT-settled perpetual contracts.
But we didn't stop at 10.
Our TradFi lineup now covers more than 240 pairs across equities, forex, indices, and precious metals. They sit alongside crypto on Toobit, with traders able to use their existing account and USDT balance to access different markets.
That means going from Bitcoin to gold, or from Nvidia to forex, doesn't require another platform or another balance. Traders can take long or short positions, trade around the clock, and access up to 500x leverage on selected pairs.
More markets shouldn't have to mean more places to trade them.
Tokenized equities are having a year
We're building into a market that's moving quickly.
The onchain market capitalization of tokenized equities reached $4.7 billion as of September 9, with active market capitalization at approximately $4 billion. That's up 314% since the beginning of the year.
Trading activity has moved with it. Monthly trading volume for tokenized equities reached $7.9 billion in August, compared with just $237 million in January. Meanwhile, the broader tokenized real-world asset market reached approximately $38 billion in September.
Those numbers are still small compared with traditional capital markets. But the direction is getting harder to ignore.
Crypto gave markets a model for assets that trade globally, around the clock, through digital infrastructure. Tokenized equities and other real-world assets are beginning to apply parts of that model to markets that have historically operated very differently.
For traders, that's where things get interesting.
That makes five
This isn't the first award we've picked up this year.
We started 2026 with Best New Exchange at the Crypto Awards 2025. That was followed by Digital Asset Derivatives Platform of the Year at the Hedgeweek Global Digital Assets Awards 2026, Best Crypto Exchange for Day Trading at the CoinGape Web3 Innovation Awards 2026, and Global Exchange of the Year at the FinanceFeeds Awards 2026.
Now we can add Best Exchange for Trading Tokenized Equities to the list.
Five awards across five different areas is nice. More importantly, they map pretty closely to what we've spent the year working on: derivatives, the trading experience, expanding the exchange, and giving traders access to markets beyond crypto.
We'll take the extra shelf space.
Where we go from here
Crypto and traditional markets aren't suddenly becoming the same thing. They don't need to.
What is changing is how traders expect to access them.
We've been building Toobit around that idea. One account can increasingly give traders access to crypto, equities, forex, indices, and precious metals without forcing them into separate trading environments.
There are now more than 240 TradFi pairs on Toobit. We don't plan on treating that number as a finish line.
The markets are getting broader. So are we.
