There is no shortage of technical indicators. The harder part is knowing which one should answer which question.
Adding another line to a chart is easy. Building a useful analysis process from all those lines is less so.
That is the idea behind the five indicators in SmartK.
We built SmartK around a 1+1 system: choose one of three main-chart indicators for direction, structure, or trade planning, then pair it with one of two lower-panel indicators for volume-price or momentum analysis.
Five indicators. Different jobs. Much less incentive to turn the chart into modern art.
Three ways to read the main chart
The first three indicators focus on different questions traders tend to ask before considering a trade.
M-01 Market signal and trade plan engine starts with the broader picture. It combines market direction, volatility, estimated buying and selling pressure, and structure into a reference trade plan with entry, stop loss, and multiple take profit levels.
Think of M-01 as the option for when the question is: What is the market saying and what might a plan around it look like?
M-02 Entry score and structure plan moves closer to the entry itself. It combines trend, structure, price location, momentum, volatility, and volume into an entry score, while tracking concepts such as break of structure (BOS), change of character (CHoCH), and key pivots.
In other words: conditions may look interesting, but is price actually in a reasonable place to act on them?
Then there is M-03 Multi-timeframe positioning intelligence, which takes a wider view.
M-03 analyzes six consecutive timeframes around the selected chart interval to show whether different periods are broadly aligned or pulling in different directions. It is less about finding an exact entry and more about answering a useful question first: Are the timeframes even agreeing with each other?
Then check what is happening underneath
Direction and structure tell only part of the story. That is where SmartK's two lower-panel indicators come in.
S-01 Volume-price resonance distribution looks at whether price movement is being supported by volume-price activity. Using historical open, high, low, close, and volume data, it estimates bullish and bearish pressure and whether that pressure is strengthening, weakening, or becoming relatively extended.
It does not claim to be true tick-by-tick order flow. Markets already provide enough opportunities for confusion without us adding another one.
S-02 Wavetrend momentum divergence looks at momentum instead. It helps show whether momentum supports the current direction, is starting to weaken, or is diverging from price.
That distinction can matter. Price can continue moving while the force behind the move starts telling a different story.
One chart does not need every indicator at once
We deliberately limit SmartK to one main-chart indicator and one lower-panel indicator at a time.
The point is not to fit every possible signal onto one screen. It is to choose the tools that fit the question you are trying to answer.
A trader might start with M-03 to check multi-timeframe direction, switch to M-02 to examine structure and entry conditions, then add S-01 or S-02 to see whether volume-price activity or momentum supports the view.
Or M-01 can provide a broader signal and trade-plan view, paired with either lower-panel indicator for additional context.
Different market questions call for different combinations.
Indicators are inputs, not answers
SmartK's indicators are designed to organize information, not make the final decision.
Scores are not probabilities. Divergence does not guarantee reversal. Volume-price pressure is not a promise that price will continue. Reference entry, SL, and TP levels are not automatically placed orders.
We built the five-indicator system to make it easier to move from direction to structure to confirmation to risk without simply piling more information onto the chart.
Because sometimes the best indicator setup is not the one with the most indicators.
It is the one where you know why each one is there.
