We hope you have been enjoying copy trading on our platform. In order to further enhance the experience for our Pro traders, we at Toobit have completed a comprehensive upgrade of our copy trading system!
Here's a detailed look at the changes and new features:
Flexible Dual Identity Selection
Pro traders can now choose between two roles:
- As a Pro Trader:
- You can continue copying futures pairs, but this must be done via the dedicated copy trading page. Trading elsewhere will not be allowed for copying.
- The trading interface on this page mirrors the USDT-M Perpetual functions.
- As a Follower:
- The process remains the same as for regular followers. Simply select a Pro trader from the Copy Trading Hall to follow their strategies.
Comprehensive Data Insights
The upgraded system enables Pro traders and followers to access detailed performance data:
- For Pro Traders: View metrics like ROI, win rate, AUM, and other performance indicators tied to your copy trading.
- For Followers: Access data on the Pro trader you’re following, including their net profit, active positions, and current performance updates.
Independent Asset Presentation
Assets are now clearly differentiated based on your role:
- Pro Traders: Asset calculations are specific to copy trading activities.
- Followers: Assets are calculated based on the trades made while following Pro traders.
Real-Time Data Over Historical Data
With the upgrade, Pro trader data will be recalculated to reflect the new copy trading account setup. Updated metrics include:
- Number of trades
- Win rate
- Total followers' profit
- Sharpe ratio
- Average profit and loss
Data Migration and Corrections
- Historical data like ROI and cumulative returns will be migrated to the new system.
- Minor deviations in data may occur during migration, but these will self-correct as new trades are executed.
Key Notes for Pro Traders
- Old Position Management:
- If you hold open positions from the old system, these will still sync with followers when adjusted. Once closed, you can start new trades on the upgraded page.
- Compatibility Issues:
- New trades on the upgraded system for a currency pair already open on the old system will fail. Ensure old positions are closed first.
- Data Updates:
- Metrics for new trades will be updated on the new trading page. Data from the old page remains static until positions are closed.
- Copy Trading Signals:
- Trades on old contract accounts will no longer generate signals.
- API Updates:
- Pro Traders who use API to do copytrading need to update the Access Key and Secret Key to the Access Key and Secret Key of Pro Traders to avoid being unable to do copytrading.
- How to Copy:
- Please proceed with copytrading via Web temporarily. TheApp will be upgraded to supportcopytrading in the next update.We hope that these new upgrades will help you on your trading journey. For a smoother transition, ensure your trading practices align with these updates.
