Ethereum Classic has attracted many different types of participants over the years, who have all contributed to its development. ETC's biggest strength is its philosophy and principles. They can be spread without spending billions on marketing, because their value and attractiveness are self-evident. In the short-term, it is impossible to compete with a blockchain backed by VCs and a budget of a billion dollars. These projects will certainly attract attention in the short term, but their reliance on central funding and direction is detrimental to long-term sustainability. ETC will continue to deliver on the original Ethereum Vision ""Build Unstoppable Apps"" and become more useful, slowly but surely, and without any central budget.
