The fact that there are only 13 physical original copies of the U.S. Constitution meant this auction was a fierce bidding war. The group raised more than $40 million in ETH but ultimately lost out to Ken Griffin, a billionaire and CEO of Citadel, a hedge fund manager.
  Constitution DAO has announced its dissolution after an unsuccessful attempt by grassroots to purchase one of the most iconic and valuable documents in U.S. History. All donations will be refunded.
